Scope:
LIMS Inc. will provide lifeguards, as needed for the pool season.
Certification Requirements:
- All lifeguards are certified according to the health standards set by the County in accordance with the New York State Sanitary Code.
- Each lifeguard holds in their possession all required lifeguard licenses.
- All lifeguards are schooled prior to the season on County/New York State Health and Bathing Codes.
Lifeguard Attire:
All lifeguards are properly attired for easy identification.
Daily Maintenance:
- All lifeguards are trained in the mechanics of all pool filtration, distribution and testing of chemicals.
- A daily record is kept on all chemical levels as required by the Suffolk County Department of Health.
- The pool, deck and patio area are policed daily.
- All tables and chairs are arranged on a daily basis.
Lifeguard Supervisor:
Lifeguard supervisor assumes other responsibilities relative to the pool’s operation as requested by the Board and/or LIMS Inc.
